Carlito Home is the musical project of Karl, a lifelong performer and creator whose goal is simple and sincere: to inspire and bring joy through music born from real experience and long-held musical dreams. His approach is built on versatility—he enjoys all styles, yet his signature consistently leans toward warmth, groove, and melody, shaped by years of stage work, improvisation, and hands-on production.
Background and Journey
Carlito Home’s story begins where music becomes tangible: live performance. From early adulthood through decades of playing, Karl was on stage in multiple bands, developing his craft as a guitarist and singer while learning how to connect with audiences of every age. Those years forged the foundation of his musical identity—one rooted in feel, timing, and emotional clarity rather than technical display.
In 2011, he returned to the purest form of musicianship: jam sessions. Immersed mainly in blues and funk, he expanded his improvisational range beyond guitar, exploring drums and bass as well. This multi-instrument mindset still defines the way Carlito Home builds songs today: each part serves the whole, and the groove always feels lived-in and organic.
In 2016, Carlito Home entered a new phase through online jam sessions, opening a bridge between performance and production. He committed to learning studio tools and developed a practical, independent workflow using Cubase and PreSonus Studio One (Studio One 5). Since 2019, living in the Philippines with his partner, he has focused on producing original music with guitars, vocals, and keyboards, translating decades of musical instinct into polished, listener-friendly releases.
