This Privacy Policy explains how the Audiartist submission service processes information used for artist accounts, music submissions and curator review. Last updated: August 21, 2026.
Information we process
Depending on the features you use, Audiartist may process your account name, email address, artist name, country, public artist information, Spotify track URLs and identifiers, playlist choices, submission messages, submission history, moderation status, curator feedback and newsletter preference. Technical and anti-abuse information may also be processed when necessary to secure the service.
Why we use it
Information is used to create and secure accounts, process submissions, prevent duplicates and abuse, route requests to curators, display status, send service notifications, administer playlists and operate optional newsletters.
Spotify data
When you submit a Spotify track or use Spotify-related tools, Audiartist may process public Spotify identifiers, URLs and metadata needed to recognize tracks and playlists and provide the requested functionality. Spotify remains a separate third-party service.
Transactional emails may be sent for account access, submission status and service operation. Newsletter communications are optional where an opt-in is offered.
Donations
PayPal and Buy Me a Coffee are optional external services. Payment information is handled by those providers under their own privacy policies. Audiartist does not require your PayPal credentials to use the submission service.
Service providers
Data may be processed by hosting, infrastructure and email providers where necessary to operate the service. Audiartist does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Retention
Account and submission information may be retained while useful for account administration, curation history, duplicate prevention, security and legal obligations. Data that is no longer needed may be deleted or anonymized.
Your choices
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal information associated with your account and may unsubscribe from optional newsletters. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal or abuse-prevention purposes.
Cookies and local storage
The service may use cookies or similar browser storage for login sessions, security, preferences, functional features and analytics where applicable.
