Ryisfly, the moniker of rising electronic artist Ryder Kein, is back with a brand-new single, “Istanbul”, set for release on May 17th, 2024. Born in Asbury Park, New Jersey, this 23-year-old DJ, producer, and songwriter is carving a name for himself in the world of house and dance pop, blending global experiences with emotional depth and infectious beats.
A Soundtrack for the Soulful Traveler
Since launching his musical career in 2015, Ryisfly has been refining a sound that’s both nostalgic and modern. Drawing inspiration from 2010s giants like Avicii, Martin Garrix, and Alesso, he has developed a unique style rooted in storytelling—music that captures feelings, memories, and moments in time.
“Istanbul” is more than just a track—it’s a musical postcard. Sparked by a life-changing study abroad experience in Berlin in 2023, Ryder explored cities like Budapest, Paris, and of course, Istanbul—each one fueling his creativity. This new release continues the journey started in his previous EP, “Immersion”, delivering a pulsating rhythm and euphoric energy that mirrors the magic of discovering a city for the first time.
From TikTok to the Turntables
Ryisfly’s breakthrough came in 2023 when two of his DJing videos went viral on TikTok—on the same day. That sudden explosion of attention opened major doors, landing him gigs at iconic NYC nightspots like Hotel Chantelle and Memory Motel, as well as shows across Jersey City and along the Jersey Shore.
For Ryisfly, it was more than viral fame—it was validation. “To compare myself now to where I was a few years ago, I feel very proud of what I’ve accomplished,” he says. That humility and gratitude shine through in his music, giving his tracks both authenticity and emotional resonance.
Building a Global Sound, One Memory at a Time
With previous EPs “Immersion” and “Permanent Relief”, and his most streamed single “Darty” (2021), Ryisfly is steadily growing a catalog that reflects a deep connection to place and experience. He’s currently working on a new EP inspired by a solo backpacking adventure from November 2024—another chapter in his evolving sonic diary.
