Thanks to this solid foundation, Esney has developed a distinctive style that blends traditional Cuban sounds with modern genres like jazz, funk, pop, and afrobeat.
Her songs are a powerful mix of emotionally rich lyrics, catchy melodies, and innovative arrangements. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with some of Cuba’s top musicians including Anaís Abreu, Emilio Morales, and Son Damas, and performed at iconic venues like La Zorra y el Cuervo jazz club.
