Micro-looping mayhem + a 32-line “delay cloud”

maniFold Σ isn’t your polite, well-behaved delay. It’s a micro-looper with multiple playheads feeding a dense network of delay lines, so you can turn any input (voice, pad, guitar, field recording, drums) into evolving textures, glitchy rhythms, smeared ambience, and reverb-like wash. The vibe is “hit record now, understand later.”

What it does (in plain English)

  • Micro-looper: captures a short buffer and replays it with multiple independent playheads (random position/length/pan/speed).
  • Delay cluster: a 32-line network that can feel like a hybrid of delay + diffusion + reverb.
  • Recirculation/feedback: push it and it blooms into living soundscapes (or chaos, if you want chaos).

Best uses

  • Ambient / cinematic beds from almost any source
  • Glitch & experimental loop fragments and rhythmic stutters
  • Transitions (rises, smears, time-warped tails)
  • “Make it interesting” layer behind an otherwise clean arrangement
