bathROOMs includes five distinct spaces named Lavender, Porcelain, Cove, Greenhouse and Baldosa. The point is not to recreate one ideal studio chamber. Each room has its own reflections and tonal behaviour, giving producers several flavours that can range from tight and boxy to brighter, more open ambience.

This can be especially effective when a source needs believable short reflections rather than the enormous tail of a conventional hall reverb.

A practical starting point

1. Choose the room before changing several controls at once.
2. Set Position and Surface until the early reflections fit the source.
3. Add Wash only as far as the arrangement needs.
4. Use the ducker on vocals, drums or rhythmic material when the reverb starts masking attacks.
5. Level-match bypass and processed versions before deciding that more reverb is better.

Why it stands out

The obvious hook is the bathroom theme, but bathROOMs avoids becoming a novelty plugin because its controls map to useful production decisions. Short rooms and early reflections are often harder to fake convincingly than giant cinematic tails, and this plugin gives those smaller spaces a dedicated workflow.

It is also refreshing to see a free reverb with an actual point of view. There are already enough plugins called Hall 01 to last several lifetimes.
