At the end of the analysis, Track Pass returns one of three overall verdicts:

- WATCH: Certain areas may require closer inspection
- PUSHED: The mix shows stronger signs of excessive density or translation risk
This full-track workflow is more useful than judging a song from a few seconds of its loudest section.
Stream and Club Target Modes
Meter Core includes OFF, STREAM and CLUB target settings.
Changing the target does not alter the audio or the measurements. It adjusts the evaluation ranges used to determine whether the analyzed values are considered healthy for the intended destination.
STREAM is designed for music prepared primarily for online platforms, while CLUB provides a more appropriate context for louder electronic productions intended for large playback systems.
Mid-Side and Stereo Correlation Analysis
The plugin displays mid-side balance and stereo correlation in real time.

Installation
The official installer places the Audio Unit and VST3 versions in the standard macOS plugin folders.
After installation, close and restart the DAW so that it can perform a new plugin scan. Meter Core is notarized by Apple, although Gatekeeper may occasionally request confirmation when the installer is opened for the first time.

Important Limitations
Meter Core is a measurement tool, not an automatic mastering processor. It will not repair stereo problems, reduce harsh frequencies or restore lost dynamics.
The translation indices should also be treated as diagnostic guidance rather than absolute creative rules. A deliberate Lo-Fi, distorted or heavily limited production may produce warning values while still achieving the intended artistic result.
The current macOS-only compatibility is the plugin’s most significant practical limitation.
