The Story of Esli Mozhno Founded in Tashkent in 2021, Esli Mozhno (Russian: « Если Можно » — « if possible ») quickly garnered attention with its distinct fusion of synth-pop, post-punk, and new wave elements. The band’s most successful single to date, Столько тупых вокруг (« So Many Fools Around »), has captivated fans worldwide, while their live performances continue to draw audiences across Central Asia and beyond.
The group’s lineup features the evocative vocals and production of Alexey Polyakov (known for 19:34 and Метод Тыка), alongside bassist Władek Sheen (Cruel Tie), guitarist Yevgeniy Ilyin, and keyboardist Nikolay Makarov, both also part of Метод Тыка.
A Growing Presence Since its inception, Esli Mozhno has achieved significant milestones, including opening for renowned acts like Ploho, Peremotka, and Труд. In 2023, the band made waves with the release of the music video Пыль (Синтепон), directed by Michael Borodin and filmed between Berlin and Tashkent.
